A Fresh Start
Hi, I’m Mary — but you might already know that.
If you are reading this, I am assuming that this is not your first impression of me. Chances are you probably already follow me on social media or you’re my mom (Hi mummy!). But on the off chance that this is your first impression of me, welcome! I hope you choose to stay!
I started my social media (mainly my TikTok account) in my third year of post secondary to document my life as a student. Since then, I’ve gone through many eras with my content. But there has been one constant, ever since I started documenting my life, I’ve always struggled with how I should brand myself.
Now that I am graduating from post-secondary and I am moving on to bigger things, I really want to take my social media more seriously. Creating a bit of a “brand” while also being authentically me. I want to start posting consistently on TikTok and YouTube and on Instagram in general. I also want to give this website some new life! I originally designed this website as a portfolio for school, but now I want it to be a resource. Plus it’s a tiny corner of the internet that I actually own — how cool is that!
A place for all things Mary!
I want this website to be a resource for you guys! A place to share some recipes, products that I love, projects I’ve been working on and so much more! A space where I can keep everything all in one place that is (hopefully) easy to find and organized! I am a hobbies girl and now I am adding a new one: creative writing! Which I never thought I would enjoy writing but here we are. I think i’m really more excited about this tiny corner of the internet that I own — and again, how cool is that!!! So in summary; this is a space for ideas and inspiration!
A Fresh Start!
My website turns four in September which makes this a fresh start. Not a launch. Regardless, I am super excited to see where this goes. The things I write, the things I create and the things that I do — the possibilities are endless and I can’t wait to see how this grows. But for now, it’s time for me to sign off while I work on website planning.
