My Current Reading List!
I used to be a big reader when I was younger. As I grew up, I kind of fell out of love with reading. Part of that is thanks to university and having to do readings every week for each of my classes. But now that I am done school, I’ve worked two things. Number one, I figured out what kind of books I actually like to read and number two, I’ve done a lot better at reading before bed! I learned this year that I prefer a mix of cozy mysteries and dark thrillers. Something that gives me an immense feeling of suspense! Now that I know what books I like to read, it’s made reading a lot more enjoyable! And now that I know what books I like to read, I’ve put together a list of books I want to read!
Here is my current reading list:
Ernest Cunningham series by Benjamin Stevenson
Everyone in my family has killed someone (currently reading)
Everyone on this train is a suspect
Everyone this Christmas has a secret
Thursday Murders Club series by Richard Osman

The Man who Died Twice

The Last Devil to Die
The Impossible Fortune
Nantucket series— Elin Hilderbrand
A Summer Affair

Her Majesty the Queen Investigates series - S.J. Bennett

Death and Diamonds…

I am currently reading “Everyone in my family has Killed Someone” by Benjamin Stevenson. It’s the first book is the Ernest Cunningham series.
My goal for 2025 was to read 10 books. And if I am being honest, I probably won’t reach that goal. As of today (November 14) I have only read 5 books in completion. I have started a few more books but lost interest in them and decided not to finish them. I am a slow reader, so it typically takes me a month to read a book (if I read a chapter or two most nights before bed). But I want to get in the habit of reading during the day to. Maybe I will work on that in 2026 haha! That means this list is going to last me a little while… After putting this list together, I’ve become more excited about reading then I have ever before! I can't wait to finish these books so I can report back with my thoughts.
