My Simple Weekly Reset Routine!

Routines are a big part of my life — I love a simple morning routine, a simple night routine and most importantly, a simple weekly reset routine! Routines are important and help us work towards our goals and are beneficial for our mental health. I also think find that simplifying my routines make actually helps me stick to them. Here is my simple weekly reset routine that sets me up for a successful week, week after week.
Step one: Wash my bedding
The first step is to strip my bed and wash my bedding. This is the task that I enjoy the least which is why I do it first. Also, I use washing and drying my sheets as a timer to clean my room.
Step two: Clean my bedroom
While my sheets are in the wash, I clean my room. Cleaning my bedroom can take as long or as little as I let it take so giving my self a timer is really helpful. I do a semi deep clean each week — I sweep and Swiffer my floor and vacuum my carpet, clean my window and mirror. I also do a quick tidy of my bathroom.
Step three: plan out my week
This is my favourite step of my weekly reset routine and really where the magic happens! I sit down with my iPad and dump out all of the tasks I need to get done the following week and also everything that I happening that week. I also finalize my TikTok plan for the week — I usually plan out some ideas at the beginning of the month so I just check in with it and make changes as needed.
Step four: Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
This is the most important step of my whole weekly reset! I usually do my weekly reset Saturday morning so I can enjoy the rest of the weekend!
